Image result for pink out day soccerOctober is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  In memory of Mary Finely, PGSC will have a PINK OUT WEEKEND on Saturday October 12th and Sunday October 13th.

All concession proceeds for this weekend in October will go into the Mary Finley Scholarship Fund (MFSF). The MFSF helps a some players each season play recreation soccer at PGSC. The MFSF also provides goalie gloves to teams U7-U10. If you didn't get a pair for your team, let your coordinator know.

This year the team with the most spirit will be rewarded. Team pics should be sent to your coordinator or BOD for judging.

Per soccer regulations, uniforms must be 'uniform'. Pink socks can only be worn if the entire team is wearing them. Some teams have had team shirts made in the past. Shirts must have the player's number on the back if they will be worn during games and PGSC or logo somewhere on the front if you will be wearing them during games. Game shirts/jerseys must NOT have the player's name on it.

Ideas: pink hair spray, pink Bows (metal free), pink headbands, pink sweat wristbands (made of terry material), pink socks, face paint, pink shoelaces, etc.

This can be done all month but judging will be after the Pink Out Weekend.

Silk screen Specialists is offering a special for PGSC teams wanting to order Pink Out Shirts to support PGSC pink out day honoring Mary Finley and breast cancer awareness. Cost is $8 plus tax a tee shirt and player's number on the back is $1 per digit)
